May 29 2011 - Kelly Canyon Ski Resort, Idaho - Washout & Snake River Flooding + TimeLapse

The Kelly Canyon Ski Resorts Parking lot was recently turned into a canyon due to excess runoff from melting snows and heavy rain. The parking lot is now a huge canyon that continues to have water stream through it. Other areas in the parking lot also have a stream that could possibly create another canyon. Tons of people have been showing up since it happened to get a glimpse of mother nature. Flooding is occuring along the south fork snake river near Heisi as well. It has been a record year for flooding and excessive runoff. Flooding is occuring all over Southeast Idaho. It looks like it can only get worse if temperatures rise fast or we get a big rain storm. All resident must be on high alert if they live near rivers or streams. VIDEO available for Licensing. Contact me for info. Visit us Online @ www.severeidaho.com

  1. we may see what we saw in 97 if not more which of palisades keeps letting as much water as it is out is very possible, but all I know is Kelly canyon is going to be hiking their prices through the roof to pay this one off.

  2. By the way, I did’nt realize till before the eagle video, but I had some manual settings enabled which lowered the brightness and messed up the focus. I really wished I would have caught that earlier. The video would have been much better quality if those settings werent on. Thanks for watching everyone.
